About the Role

Qureos is seeking a Project Manager – Agriculture to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of proven experience in leading and managing agricultural projects from their initial planning stages through to successful execution. The role focuses on overseeing large-scale agricultural operations and infrastructure development.

Role Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of agricultural projects, encompassing crop production, greenhouse operations, irrigation systems, and general agricultural infrastructure. This includes meticulous oversight of project planning, resource allocation, budget management, and adherence to timelines. The successful candidate will ensure operational efficiency, promote sustainability, and maintain compliance with industry best practices and relevant regulations. We are looking for professionals with significant project management experience within commercial agriculture, large-scale farming, horticulture, agribusiness, or agricultural development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor agricultural projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Manage large-scale farming operations, including crop production, greenhouse projects, irrigation systems, and agricultural infrastructure.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate effectively with farm managers, agronomists, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure strict compliance with agricultural regulations, environmental standards, and health & safety requirements.
• Manage the procurement of agricultural equipment, materials, and services.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of irrigation systems, greenhouses, and other agricultural facilities.
• Analyze project performance, prepare detailed progress reports, and present updates to senior management.
• Identify opportunities to enhance productivity, efficiency, and sustainability across agricultural operations.
• Manage project risks and develop robust mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in large-scale farming, crop production, greenhouse operations, irrigation projects, or agricultural development.
• Strong understanding of modern farming practices, irrigation systems, soil management, and agricultural technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in managing project budgets, schedules, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software (*, MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).

Work Location

This position is based in Riyadh. Experience working in the GCC region, particularly Saudi Arabia, is highly desirable for this role.
