Project Manager Substation

About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Project Manager Substation to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing the comprehensive planning, execution, and successful delivery of 380kV BSP projects. The role ensures strict adherence to SEC requirements, project timelines, quality standards, safety protocols, and budgetary constraints. Preference will be given to candidates who are SEC approved Project Managers.

Project Management Focus

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading projects from initial mobilization through to energization and final handover. This includes managing all aspects of project delivery, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role requires a strong focus on risk management and commercial oversight to achieve project objectives efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution from mobilization to energization and handover.
• Manage project schedule, cost, resources, manpower, and material requirements.
• Coordinate with SEC, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely achievement of project milestones.
• Lead engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Identify project risks and implement timely corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with SEC/NG-SEC standards, quality, and HSE requirements.
• Manage commercial matters, variations, claims, and cost optimization.
• Drive effective stakeholder management and client relationships.
• Ensure timely project completion, documentation, and final handover.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in EPC Substation Projects within Saudi Arabia.
• Exposure to SEC, National Grid SA, or major utility projects.
• Strong track record in delivering substation civil works safely, within budget, and on schedule.
• Immediate availability and transferable iqama are considered an advantage.
