Role Overview

The Regulatory Affairs Specialist is primarily responsible for the preparation and submission of comprehensive regulatory dossiers. This includes a wide range of products such as food, special dietary products, cosmetics, drugs, herbal, and health products, all in strict adherence to Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) regulations.

Key Responsibilities and Compliance

• Ensure timely renewal and maintenance of all necessary approvals and licenses.
• Conduct classification assessments for new products, determining their category under food, health, or drug regulations.
• Review and approve product artwork and labeling to guarantee full compliance with SFDA regulations.
• Evaluate and approve promotional materials and advertisements in line with current regulatory requirements.

Platform Management and Certification

• Manage product registration and certification processes on the SABER and MDMA platforms.
• Monitor the validity of certificates, update relevant data, and resolve any issues encountered during platform submissions.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Coordinate effectively with marketing, suppliers, and design teams to finalize compliant product artwork.
• Collaborate with marketing and legal departments to ensure all product claims are thoroughly substantiated and meet regulatory standards.
