About the Role: Rolling Stock (RST) Supervisor

Camco is seeking a Rolling Stock (RST) Supervisor to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is integral to supporting the RST Manager in ensuring maintenance workloads are prioritized effectively based on operational and safety demands, aligning with overall business objectives.

Role Purpose and Context

The RST Supervisor plays a critical role in assisting maintenance teams with troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring that asset maintenance consistently adheres to stringent quality standards. This position is responsible for maintaining safe, reliable, and compliant assets, developing solutions proactively with guidance from experienced colleagues and superiors. The role requires strict compliance with metro standards, effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to all safety and quality requirements throughout the asset lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for asset maintenance, including maintenance planning, asset strategy, and predictive/condition-based maintenance for discipline-specific systems (RST).
• Execute maintenance and repair activities for relevant equipment according to established work plans and maintenance manuals.
• Ensure that quality standards are consistently upheld during all maintenance operations.
• Support the hiring, training, and assessment of team staff, managing ongoing personnel training and development efforts.
• Assist the RST Manager and wider superiors within the technical directorate with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Incident Reporting for faults, failures, and incidents.
• Support the RST Manager and the wider technical team in the creation, review, modification, and approval of maintenance documentation, design drawings, and related documents.
• Execute and/or supervise complex maintenance activities performed by internal teams or sub-contractors.
• Ensure the safety of teams by following all safety processes and promoting the correct use of tooling, including the creation and distribution of safety/quality briefs and toolbox talks.
• Review CMMS logs and attachments to verify that maintenance teams are following good practices.
• Thoroughly review change management processes to avoid any operational impact.
• Deputize for the RST Manager or Head of Transit Systems and provide support for any reasonable requested tasks.

Procurement and Localization Support

This role also involves supporting procurement teams by providing technical analysis and justification for Requests for Quotation (RFQs). Responsibilities include developing Bills of Materials (BOMs), contributing to tender input and clarifications, and exploring alternative equipment manufacturers to support localization targets within Saudi Arabia, with a focus on improving quality and reducing costs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Requirement: Technical Diploma.
• Desired: Degree in Engineering.
• Desired: Lean / Six Sigma certification.
• A minimum of 5 years of system-related experience within the rail, aviation, or transportation industry.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience in creating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and involvement in procurement, competitive tenders, and providing technical clarifications.
• Demonstrated experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Proven ability to build relationships with and influence diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Experience in providing valuable input to senior management teams.
• Experience in analyzing and predicting future failures, along with providing solutions to extend asset lifecycles.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The role operates within a dynamic transit systems environment, demanding strict adherence to operational and safety standards.
