Founded in 2025 in Riyadh, iBuild is a startup dedicated to transforming the building materials market in Saudi Arabia through innovative digital solutions. Our platform addresses the challenges of traditional supply chains by offering a centralized, intuitive, and technology-driven marketplace where suppliers and buyers can connect efficiently. We streamline procurement for businesses and make e-commerce for building materials accessible to all.
The Salesperson Role
We are seeking a Salesperson to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to expanding our buyer base and driving platform adoption. The Salesperson will be responsible for identifying and engaging new clients, demonstrating the value of the iBuild platform, and guiding them through their initial purchasing experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new buyer leads, including contractors, developers, and project sites, through outbound calls, WhatsApp, site visits, and referrals.
- Qualify incoming and self-generated leads, and schedule meetings and product demonstrations.
- Conduct product demonstrations to illustrate the iBuild platform's functionality, from search and quotation to ordering and delivery tracking.
- Guide interested buyers from initial contact through to placing their first order.
- Follow up on open quotations and opportunities to convert them into confirmed orders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and opportunities within the CRM system.
- Handle day-to-day buyer questions and objections, escalating complex commercial issues to the Senior Sales Manager.
- Coordinate with supplier and operations teams to ensure quotation accuracy and order deliverability.
- Support repeat ordering and provide light account management for smaller buyers.
- Meet weekly activity and conversion targets, including calls, meetings, quotes, and orders.
- Gather buyer feedback from the field and share insights with the internal team.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience of 0-1 years is required.
- Background ideally in the construction, building materials, or a related sector.
- A proactive attitude and comfort with high-volume outreach and potential rejection.
- Possession of a valid driving license and willingness to conduct field visits across Riyadh and the surrounding region.
Work Environment
This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are comfortable operating within an early-stage startup environment, contributing to a rapidly evolving sector.
