About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Section Manager General Insurance Facility to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring that the company's insurance coverage is adequate and aligned with its actual risk exposure, while maintaining full compliance with policy terms and conditions. The Section Manager will work to prevent coverage gaps or claim denials that could arise from non-compliance, upholding the company's commitment to robust risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and monitor the adequacy of insurance coverage against operational risks.
• Verify compliance with policy terms and conditions.
• Follow up on recommendations issued by insurers and risk assessment companies.
• Monitor and update the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the Head Office.
• Prepare periodic reports, or reports upon identification of risks or insurance gaps.
• Review the scope of coverage, limits, deductibles, and exclusions, ensuring policies align with operations, assets, and projects.
• Identify insurance gaps and submit recommendations for resolution.
• Compile and document all policy conditions, warranties, and operational obligations in a structured register.
• Verify the implementation of obligations in coordination with relevant departments and issue alerts regarding non-compliance.
• Review and classify recommendations from insurers and risk assessment firms based on risk severity.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to assess implementation feasibility and propose technical or operational alternatives when necessary.
• Coordinate with the Head Office to obtain approval for alternatives and formally close recommendations with the insurer.

• Translate corporate goals into actionable business plans.
• Plan, follow up, and execute annual and development plans.
• Monitor plan performance, initiate actions to strengthen results, and take corrective measures.
• Provide periodic work progress reports.
• Monitor and control budgets and expenses to achieve optimal cost efficiency.
• Develop the organizational structure based on current and future requirements.
• Ensure job descriptions are available for all roles and deployed effectively.
• Develop and coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities.
• Utilize and promote IT solutions relevant to the job and business.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new techniques, technologies, management structures, and business models.
