About the Role

AWS EMEA SARL (Saudi Arabia Branch) is seeking a Security Assurance Solutions Architect to join the AWS Security Assurance Services team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on helping customers operationalize the shared responsibility model as they migrate to the cloud, addressing their enterprise risk management requirements through scalable computing architectures.

Role Context and Objectives

The AWS Security Assurance Services team leverages expertise to build scalable security solutions that drive business outcomes for both internal and external customers. The team's objective is to secure global workloads and invest in security mechanisms and automation. This role involves working with large enterprise customers to manage the challenges of migrating systems and workloads to the cloud, ensuring compliance objectives are met while operating securely on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver security assurance and compliance program enhancements in collaboration with Amazonians, partners, and customers.
• Define and present innovative compliance and risk management approaches to customers, facilitating the secure migration of sensitive workloads to the cloud.
• Address security assurance questions and provide guidance on risk management and compliance within the AWS Cloud through in-depth discussions, strategic recommendations, and demonstrations of automation.
• Convey partner and customer feedback to AWS engineering, support, and business teams to inform AWS technology roadmaps.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to support engagements.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field. This role requires a professional who can handle a wide range of compliance requirements, delve into details, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and communicate effectively at all organizational levels. Experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance is essential, as is the ability to help executives address enterprise risk management needs using highly scalable computing architectures.
