About the Role

PayTech Group is seeking a Senior Advisor to the Head of Assets & Cards – Cards & Payments. This contract position is based in Riyadh and involves supporting the development and execution of business strategy across lending, cards, and payments. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and practical execution to drive growth and profitability.

Purpose of the Project

The Senior Advisor will serve as a trusted advisor to the Head of Assets & Cards. This role is central to shaping and implementing the strategic roadmap for the business, focusing on achieving market leadership within the cards and payments sector. The advisor will contribute to the overall business strategy for retail assets, cards, and digital payment propositions.

Core Responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of Assets & Cards to shape and execute the strategic roadmap for the business.
• Lead and oversee the implementation of key initiatives across retail assets, cards, payments, and digital propositions.
• Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and emerging trends to drive portfolio growth and enhance customer value propositions.
• Monitor business performance, portfolio health, profitability, and key KPIs, providing actionable recommendations to achieve targets.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across Product, Risk, Finance, Operations, Technology, and Marketing teams to ensure successful delivery of strategic programs.
• Prepare executive-level business cases, strategic reviews, and management presentations for senior leadership.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, payment schemes, fintechs, and other strategic stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a seasoned banking professional with a strong background in lending, cards, and payments. This role requires an individual who can combine strategic insight with practical execution capabilities to drive business objectives and foster market leadership.
