The Role: Senior Bridge Design Engineer

IC İçtaş Construction is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Bridge Design Engineer to join our team. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will contribute to a significant road project in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and review of bridge and viaduct structures, ensuring adherence to international standards and project-specific requirements.
• Coordinate structural design activities effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams, external consultants, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and meticulously review design calculations, technical reports, engineering drawings, and detailed specifications.
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant design codes, established quality standards, and project specifications throughout the design process.
• Provide essential technical support during the construction phase and proactively resolve engineering challenges related to bridge structures.
• Participate actively in design optimization studies aimed at enhancing constructability, improving cost efficiency, and boosting overall project performance.
• Review and formally approve submissions from contractors and consultants pertaining to bridge design.
• Mentor junior engineers and actively contribute to the professional development and growth of the engineering team.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in bridge design engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise in leading design and review processes for bridge and viaduct structures.
• Strong understanding of international design standards and project requirements.
• Proven ability to coordinate complex structural design activities within a multidisciplinary environment.

Location and Employment Type

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting a key road infrastructure project.
