Position Summary

DeepSource Technologies is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer, a Saudi National, to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience, focused on supporting a remote client engagement within Saudi Arabia.

Role Context

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, operations-focused engineer responsible for infrastructure reliability and automation. This role involves managing and optimizing infrastructure across hybrid and multi-cloud environments for a client, ensuring robust and efficient operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters in production environments, including deployment, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation workflows to support development and release cycles.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, with a preference for Terraform, for provisioning and configuration management across cloud environments.
• Manage device and endpoint policies through Microsoft Intune, covering compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application deployment.
• Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and security across cloud and endpoint layers, responding to incidents and performing root cause analysis.
• Support cloud cost optimization, resource governance, and tagging/organization standards across GCP and AWS.
• Collaborate with the client's internal IT, security, and DevOps teams to align infrastructure operations with broader organizational policies.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Participate in on-call/operational support rotations as required by the client.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong DevOps background, including experience with CI/CD tooling (*, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and scripting/automation (Python, Bash).
• Proven hands-on experience managing Kubernetes in production environments, including deployments, Helm, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with Terraform strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for endpoint/device management and compliance.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and security fundamentals across GCP and AWS.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tooling (*, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Stackdriver).
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, application, and network layers.

Operational Environment

This role requires the ability to work independently in a remote capacity, maintaining clear and proactive communication. The position may involve participation in on-call and operational support rotations as dictated by client needs.
