About the Senior HSE Manager Role

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Senior HSE Manager (Building Automation) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Role Context and Impact

Reporting directly to the VP, HSE, this role is pivotal in overseeing the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs that ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. The Senior HSE Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to integrate HSE considerations into business processes and decision-making. This contribution is essential for the overall success and reputation of Honeywell Technologies as a responsible and sustainable organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies that align with the organization's mission, fostering a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.
• Lead and manage a team of HSE professionals, including engineers, specialists, and support staff, to ensure efficient and effective HSE engineering practices.
• Ensure the organization complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications, staying updated on changing regulations and industry best practices.
• Develop and implement proactive safety measures, training programs, and policies to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses in the workplace.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards, providing engineering solutions and preventive measures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive corrective action plans for HSE-related incidents, including accidents and environmental emergencies.
• Promote environmental sustainability by implementing eco-friendly practices and minimizing the environmental impact of the organization's operations.
• Conduct regular inspections and performance assessments related to HSE.
• Collaborate with various internal departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, training, and education on HSE matters.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental management, particularly within an engineering or building automation context. The position requires demonstrated leadership capabilities, a strong understanding of HSE regulations and industry standards, and the ability to develop and implement effective safety programs. Experience in collaborating with diverse teams and influencing stakeholders is essential.
