We are seeking a Senior IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) Developer to join our team. This is an onsite, 6-month contract role, extendable, and open to all nationalities, based in Riyadh. The successful candidate will contribute to enterprise business process automation solutions for a leading bank in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing 5+ years of relevant experience.

Role Context and Impact

This role involves designing, building, and supporting robust business process automation solutions. It offers significant exposure to complex core-banking integrations and provides end-to-end delivery ownership, spanning from initial design through go-live and ongoing production support. The developer will play a crucial part in modernizing critical workflows within a financial institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure end-to-end business process workflows using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) / IBM BPM.
• Model business processes effectively using BPMN , incorporating human tasks, coaches, business rules, and process routing.
• Integrate BAW applications with core banking systems and enterprise services via REST/SOAP web services.
• Configure and maintain process applications, toolkits, and shared services on WebSphere/Liberty environments.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional workflow designs.
• Perform unit testing, system integration testing, defect resolution, and performance tuning for workflow applications.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and go-live activities, including environment promotion across DEV/SIT/UAT/PROD.
• Provide production support, conduct root-cause analysis, and resolve workflow-related incidents.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical design documents, process specifications, and deployment guides.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in BPM/workflow development, with hands-on IBM BAW experience.
• Prior experience delivering BPM solutions within a bank or financial institution is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of BPMN , Process Designer, Business Process Center, and Process Portal.
• Experience with Business Rules (ODM), coaches, human services, and case management.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and REST/SOAP web service integration.
• Working knowledge of WebSphere Application Server/Liberty and relational databases (SQL).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• A notice period of 1 month or immediate availability is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Appian or other BPM/low-code platforms.
• Exposure to IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodology.
• IBM BAW certification.
