Role Overview

Dar is seeking a Senior Irrigation Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing the design review, construction supervision, testing, and commissioning of irrigation systems for major roads, highways, bridges, and landscape developments. The position requires extensive experience within PMC and construction supervision environments to ensure irrigation works align with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and supervise irrigation design drawings, calculations, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and verify the quality of irrigation installation works.
• Review contractor method statements, material submittals, and testing procedures.
• Coordinate with civil, landscape, utility, and infrastructure teams for proper integration of irrigation systems.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical recommendations to resolve engineering issues.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and project quality requirements.
• Participate in project meetings and prepare technical reports and progress updates.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities of irrigation networks and associated systems.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in irrigation engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in PMC and construction supervision environments.
• Proficiency in reviewing and supervising irrigation design drawings and technical submittals.
• Strong understanding of local regulations and international standards related to irrigation systems.
