Senior Lifting Coordinator

About the Role

CG Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Senior Lifting Coordinator to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is with a leading international contractor currently engaged in a high-profile construction project. The role involves overseeing and coordinating complex lifting operations on a large scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed lift plans for all critical and complex lifts, considering crane capacity, load weight, geometry, and environmental conditions.
• Coordinate daily lifting activities among multiple contractors, crane operators, riggers, and site supervisors.
• Oversee the operation of approximately 25 tower cranes, ensuring optimal utilization and safe coordination across various work zones.
• Review and approve lifting plans and method statements prepared by subcontractors.
• Conduct risk assessments for lifting operations and implement control measures.
• Supervise and mentor lifting teams, including riggers and signalers, promoting safe practices and competency development.
• Liaise with engineering, construction management, safety teams, and clients to align lifting operations with project schedule and safety requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should ideally hold an engineering or construction degree.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a lifting coordinator is required.
• Experience managing multiple tower cranes on busy and complex construction sites is essential.
• Valid certification as a Lifting Supervisor, Appointed Person, or equivalent (*, CPCS A61, LOLER Appointed Person, or country-specific equivalent) is mandatory.
