About the Role

Mace is seeking a Senior Lifting Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to one of the largest programmes in the Kingdom, a significant mixed-use development.

Project Context

The programme involves a major mixed-use development that includes sports facilities, entertainment venues, and arts complexes, along with all associated infrastructure. As a key delivery partner, Mace requires high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of the programme-wide logistics strategy for the manufacture, transportation, storage, and installation of large-scale modular units, prefabricated structures, and construction pods across the project.
  • Plan and manage the end-to-end logistics lifecycle, from off-site fabrication facilities through to final assembly on site, ensuring seamless integration with programme milestones and construction sequencing.
  • Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to coordinate scope delivery, manage change, and drive successful project outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across the supply chain, identifying opportunities to improve performance, productivity, and value.
  • Oversee the movement of oversized, heavy, and abnormal loads, including route studies, transport permits, marine transport (where applicable), escort requirements, and regulatory approvals.
  • Coordinate the timely management of RFIs, Early Warning Notices (EWNs), and other project controls to mitigate risk and support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, wellbeing, environmental, and statutory requirements, promoting a positive safety culture across site operations.
  • Oversee logistics, plant and equipment management, auditing, asset control, and waste management activities to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A relevant degree qualification.
  • Progressing toward chartership with a recognised professional body and demonstrating ongoing professional development.
  • Proven leadership in health, safety, and wellbeing, delivering measurable outcomes and embedding best practice.
  • Relevant work experience on high-valued projects or programmes for a project management consultancy business.
  • Ability to meet necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which are required for immigration and client approval.
