Role Overview: Senior Mechanic

Yamama Cement is seeking a Senior Mechanic to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is critical for performing mechanical maintenance and repair work, directly contributing to the efficient operation and continuous availability of the company's production units and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance work in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of production units to ensure operation within designated operational limits and report any observations that may affect equipment efficiency.
• Identify the tools and equipment required for maintenance, assess their readiness, and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure their continuous availability.
• Organize and store maintenance tools in their designated locations, maintain them properly, and ensure proper disposal of maintenance waste.
• Execute mechanical repair work, including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts to ensure their readiness and efficiency.
• Comply with all safety procedures before commencing work, including verifying necessary permits and lockout/tagout forms.
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Operational Focus

The Senior Mechanic plays a vital role in upholding the reliability of production infrastructure. This includes diligent monitoring of unit performance to ensure adherence to operational limits and prompt reporting of any observations that could impact equipment efficiency.
