About the Role

HQ Engineering Consultancy & Management is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to join its engineering team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with a strong background in mechanical design and system supervision.

Role Overview

The Senior Mechanical Designer will be responsible for reviewing mechanical designs, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, and providing technical observations. This role is integral to ensuring the successful implementation of mechanical systems within various projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing mechanical designs for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinating mechanical system designs with other engineering disciplines.
• Providing technical observations and recommendations on mechanical systems.
• Ensuring designs meet project specifications and industry standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical design and supervision.
• Extensive experience with HVAC systems.
• Full familiarity with high-rise building systems.
• Proficiency in all mechanical systems, including:
  • HVAC and heating systems
  • Fire Fighting systems
  • Plumbing & Drainage systems
  • Smoke Exhaust systems
  • Staircase Pressurization systems
  • Parking Ventilation systems
• Experience in coding and meeting civil defense requirements is preferred.
• Saudi coding experience and meeting civil defense requirements is also preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves working within a professional engineering consultancy environment.
