Mace is a global consultancy and construction company that integrates expertise to deliver complex projects. We are currently seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a full-time position. This role is part of one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia, a unique mixed-use development encompassing sports facilities, entertainment venues, arts districts, and all associated infrastructure.

The Role of Senior Planner (Track and Infield)

As a Senior Planner (Track and Infield), you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of this significant programme. This position requires a Saudi national who will be based in Riyadh, contributing to the strategic planning and oversight of project timelines and performance. The role involves applying advanced planning and project controls methodologies to ensure project objectives are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advice on complex project requirements, offering clear analysis and recommending effective corrective actions.
• Supervise the planning and scheduling for the delivery of medium- to high-complexity projects and programmes.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, Earned Value Management (EVM), and broader project controls methodologies to drive performance.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Develop robust plans and interpret trends using numerical and statistical techniques to inform decision-making.
• Support senior leadership in negotiations, contract development, due diligence, and business development activities.
• Collaborate towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, sharing responsibility for proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• A relevant degree or equivalent experience in construction, programme, project, or commercial management.
• Progression toward chartership with a recognised professional body and commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Expert knowledge of schedule management tools and software.
• Proven leadership in health, safety, and wellbeing, demonstrating measurable outcomes and embedding best practices.
• Strong knowledge and application of relevant legislation within complex organisational environments.
• Effective communication skills with analytical capability, and the ability to engage, influence, and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
• Fulfillment of necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience on high-value projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, as required for immigration and client approval.
