About the Opportunity

Massar Business Solutions is currently recruiting for a Senior Contract & Procurement Specialist. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a leading engineering consultancy organization. The company operates across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, water, energy, and industrial projects.

Role Purpose

The Senior Contract & Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of contract and procurement activities. This role is integral to supporting the efficient execution of projects by ensuring robust procurement processes and effective contract administration, contributing to the successful delivery of complex engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of contracts, from negotiation and drafting to administration and close-out, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
• Oversee procurement processes, including vendor selection, tendering, bid evaluation, and purchase order management for project-specific requirements.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost-efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to understand their procurement needs and provide expert guidance on contractual matters.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in all procurement and contract execution activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven experience in contract and procurement roles.
• Demonstrated experience within an engineering consultancy environment or on large-scale Infrastructure, Water, Energy, or Construction projects in Saudi Arabia.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience working with major government entities and large-scale projects within Saudi Arabia is highly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, MCIPS, RICS, or FIDIC accreditation will be considered an advantage.
