Your Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to offer comprehensive psychosocial support and health promotion.
• Implement effective social care strategies including screening, assessment, intervention, and documentation.

• Follow international standards for patient satisfaction and adhere to local regulations and policies.

Requirements:

• Certified Social Worker by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work; Master’s degree is preferable.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with 12 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
• Experience in renal care, diabetes, or hypertension is advantageous.
• Fluency in Arabic and basic English is required, along with proficiency in MS Office.

Position Overview
The PYP Early Years and Primary School Social Worker will play a pivotal role in fostering the social, emotional, and mental well-being of children and students. This role requires a collaborative and proactive professional who can address individual and systemic needs within the school community while upholding the values of the IB-PYP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Support:
  • Provide tailored one-on-one counselling sessions for students facing challenges.
  • Organize small group sessions to develop essential skills.
  • Monitor and assess students showing signs of distress.
  • Create age-appropriate social-emotional learning activities.
• Parental Engagement:
  • Hold regular meetings with parents to discuss their child’s development.
  • Conduct workshops on managing screen time and building resilience.
  • Provide tailored resources and support during transitions.
• Collaboration with Teachers and Staff:
  • Partner with teachers to support students displaying learning difficulties.
  • Design professional development sessions for teachers.
  • Provide strategies for managing classroom conflicts.
• Crisis Intervention and Advocacy:
  • Assist students during crises with sensitivity.
  • Serve as a contact for critical incidents, providing guidance.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed records of counselling sessions and intervention plans.
  • Prepare reports on student well-being trends.
  • Share updates on student progress with stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Must have or be in the process of obtaining a Social Work License.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of intervention and experience with young children.
• Familiarity with the IB philosophy of education.
