The Role: Senior Project Manager (MEP)

El Seif Engineering Contracting is seeking a Senior Project Manager specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role is critical for ensuring the timely completion of projects within approved budgets for cost and resources, while upholding quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the development of KSA national employees to support corporate objectives, Saudization targets, and knowledge dissemination.
  • Provide input to Human Resources on succession planning, employee career growth, and organizational structure.
  • Conduct team affairs with high standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety, and corporate governance.
  • Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics policy and company values across all employees, reinforcing a strong people culture and ethical business practices.
  • Oversee the adoption and utilization of systems and ERP within the function.
  • Represent the organization and enhance relationships with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Lead and communicate with field supervision, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure adherence to the Project Schedule for MEP aspects.
  • Administer financial aspects of owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
  • Build effective working relationships with clients and project team members.
  • Review general contracts and documents, confirming budget setup and project milestones with the Project Lead.
  • Create a schedule of values and project logs, plan for project safety and mobilization.
  • Review purchasing processes and document control.
  • Maintain cost control, buy schedules, write scopes of work, distribute and log subcontracts, and confirm compliance with project insurance requirements.
  • Manage purchase and delivery schedules, change order processes, shop drawings, document control logs, and correspondence.
  • Attend and chair necessary schedule and management MEP meetings.
  • Manage all requisitions and payments, including lien releases and project payroll, maintaining optimal cash flow.
  • Deliver all necessary manuals and consolidate project documentation and files.
  • Manage subcontractor closeout, utility transfers, owner training, and the punch list process.
  • Deliver all warranties, as-builts, and training to the owner.
  • Manage work teams for effective delivery of daily objectives, including control of work hours, overtime, and incentive schemes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, specifically within MEP.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of construction industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic engineering and contracting environment. The role involves significant interaction with clients, consultants, and various internal and external stakeholders.
