The Role of Senior Risk Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Risk Engineer to lead risk management activities for a major road and infrastructure project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience and focuses on ensuring robust risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform qualitative and quantitative risk assessments for road and infrastructure projects.
• Identify, evaluate, and monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain risk registers, mitigation plans, and contingency measures.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate risk management practices into project execution.
• Facilitate risk workshops and support the implementation of mitigation actions.
• Monitor risk exposure and report key risks, trends, and mitigation status to project management.
• Utilize risk management tools and methodologies to support informed decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with project, contractual, and corporate risk management requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• PMI-RMP (Risk Management Professional) or an equivalent risk management certification.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in project risk management.
• Preferably, experience within large-scale infrastructure, transportation, or construction projects.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in qualitative and quantitative risk analysis methodologies.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing risk mitigation and contingency plans.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The salary for this role will be disclosed during the application process.
