About the Role

Emdad By Elm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (.NET) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications and backend services using Microsoft .NET technologies. The position requires 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Role Overview

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions. This includes translating business requirements into technical implementations and contributing to the overall software architecture and development standards within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and backend services using C# and **** Core.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations with internal and external platforms.
• Design and optimize relational databases using SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), clean architecture, and design patterns.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to deliver business requirements.
• Participate in solution design, technical reviews, and architecture discussions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues across different system layers.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing within the development team.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development processes.
• Manage source code using Git and participate in CI/CD workflows.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years and up to 10 years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft .NET technologies, including C# and **** Core.
• Experience with RESTful API development and system integrations.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, specifically SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and clean architecture.
• Experience with Git for source code management and CI/CD workflows.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working collaboratively within a development team and with various cross-functional departments.
