About the Role

Bank of Jordan (KSA) is seeking a Senior Tanfeeth Officer to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role involves supervising staff performance, overseeing critical automation projects, and ensuring stringent compliance with regulatory requirements within the banking sector. The officer will also act as a key liaison, monitor financial litigation, and cultivate strong relationships with regulatory authorities.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage staff performance, including workload distribution and leave schedules, to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Oversee and manage automation projects specifically related to the Execution System, ensuring alignment with all regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and audit customer financial litigation lists to effectively safeguard the bank’s rights and interests.
• Ensure that all execution-related banking transactions, such as account openings, transfers, and checkbook issuances, comply with established regulations and are accurately recorded.

Regulatory Compliance and System Oversight

• Review, implement, and recommend necessary changes based on regulatory instructions issued by SAMA, ensuring full alignment with bank procedures.
• Test, review, and supervise updates and improvements made to systems that are linked to the Execution System.
• Ensure the timely, accurate, and compliant submission of all required responses and reports to SAMA.
• Maintain strict compliance with service-level agreements pertaining to regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement and Training

• Act as a primary liaison between the bank, system vendors, and relevant internal departments for technical support, system enhancements, and integration efforts.
• Cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships with all relevant regulatory authorities.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams and departments to ensure their full compliance with SAMA’s instructions and updates.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Senior Tanfeeth Officer position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience within the banking sector, with a strong background in regulatory compliance and system management.
