The Role of Service Technician

This is a full-time, on-site Service Technician role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Service Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of home appliances, ensuring proper installation and safe operation. This role involves direct interaction with customers at their locations and collaboration with the service team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on home appliances, including diagnosing faults and replacing parts.
• Visit customer locations to conduct inspections and execute service.
• Document all work performed accurately and adhere to company procedures and safety standards.
• Explain findings and recommended repairs clearly to customers.
• Provide guidance on appliance use and care to customers.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure tools, spare parts, and work areas are organized for field assignments.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience as a service or appliance technician, preferably in home appliance maintenance.
• Ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks on a range of home appliances using appropriate tools and methods.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify issues, diagnose root causes, and propose effective technical solutions.
• Experience in field service work, including on-site visits and accurate documentation.
• General maintenance knowledge, including preventive maintenance practices and basic electrical and mechanical understanding.
• Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams and follow standardized repair procedures.

Required Skills

• Customer service skills for clear communication and managing expectations to ensure a positive service experience.
• Physical ability to handle tools, move appliances when required, and work in various residential environments.
• Basic computer or mobile device skills for using service applications, entering job details, and accessing digital manuals.
• Adherence to safety protocols and company standards.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires regular travel to customer locations within the city to perform service and maintenance tasks.
