Awtad Al-Imran is seeking a Site Engineer to manage technical and commercial activities related to the company's subsurface irrigation system. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is critical for expanding the system's market presence and ensuring effective coordination across various teams and clients.

Role Purpose

The Site Engineer will be responsible for supporting the commercialization of the subsurface irrigation system. This involves lead generation, client communication, preparing technical and commercial proposals, conducting product presentations, managing sales follow-up, and providing after-sales technical support. The role ensures seamless coordination between clients and the company's technical, manufacturing, marketing, and management teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the subsurface irrigation system, including its components, operation, technical specifications, applications, and competitive advantages.
• Identify and approach potential clients such as real estate developers, contractors, landscaping companies, agricultural businesses, consultants, and government entities.
• Manage all communications related to the system and maintain timely follow-up with prospective and existing clients.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, presentations, and product profiles.
• Present and demonstrate the system to clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Conduct site visits, assess client requirements, and recommend appropriate technical solutions in coordination with the technical team.
• Follow up on sales opportunities from initial inquiry through negotiation, approval, contracting, delivery, installation, and payment collection.
• Maintain an updated database of clients, leads, quotations, communications, and sales opportunities.
• Prepare periodic sales pipeline, activity, and performance reports for management.
• Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional materials, campaigns, exhibitions, and product launch activities.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, quality assurance, and installation teams to ensure compliance with specifications and delivery schedules.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients during installation, operation, and after-sales stages.
• Coordinate product training and demonstrations for clients, employees, installers, and end-users.
• Record and analyze client feedback, technical observations, and market requirements, communicating them to management and the product development team.
• Monitor competing products, market prices, customer requirements, and relevant industry developments.
• Support the continuous improvement and development of the system in coordination with technical and R&D teams.
• Ensure the confidentiality and protection of the system’s technical information, intellectual property, and patent-related documentation.
• Perform any other related duties assigned by management.

• Number of qualified leads generated and followed up.
• Number and value of technical and commercial proposals submitted.
• Sales conversion rate and value of contracts secured.
• Achievement of approved sales targets.
• Response and follow-up time for client inquiries.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of technical sales and client management within the engineering or construction sector. The ability to manage complex projects and coordinate with diverse teams is essential.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires regular interaction with clients and internal teams, including technical, manufacturing, marketing, and management departments, ensuring a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
