Site Manager Electrical (Substation)

Opportunity Overview

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Site Manager Electrical (Substation) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to overseeing the electrical construction execution for substation projects, ensuring site coordination, effective subcontractor management, and adherence to quality and safety standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring progress and ensuring timely project completion in line with SEC standards and project requirements, bringing 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all electrical construction activities for 380kV substation/BSP projects.
• Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, cable works, equipment erection, and all related electrical activities.
• Plan and monitor site execution, including manpower, materials, equipment, and daily progress.

Project Management and Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate effectively with SEC, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor the project schedule, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to achieve project milestones.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure their productivity, quality of work, safety compliance, and timely completion of tasks.
• Coordinate with Civil, Protection & Control, Planning, QA/QC, HSE, and Procurement teams for integrated project delivery.
• Prepare comprehensive progress reports and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and senior management.

Quality, Standards, and Safety Compliance

• Ensure all works strictly comply with SEC standards, approved drawings, specifications, and established project procedures.
• Review drawings, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and other technical documents prior to execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure the proper resolution and closure of all technical and construction issues.
• Support testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and all SEC inspection and approval activities.
• Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements, striving for zero-incident project execution.

Required Experience

Candidates must possess 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical construction, specifically within substation projects, demonstrating a strong understanding of project execution and management in this domain.
