SOC Analyst (Junior to Senior)

About the Role

Socium - Teams Done Differently is seeking SOC Analysts at both Junior and Senior levels to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This contract position involves supporting a large-scale Security Operations Center (SOC) environment. Successful candidates will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity threats, while also supporting the organization's security operations and incident response functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events and alerts using SIEM platforms.
• Investigate suspicious activities and security incidents.
• Perform alert triage, escalation, and incident management activities.
• Support threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring processes.
• Create and maintain incident documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with internal security teams and stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of SOC use cases, processes, and playbooks.

Junior SOC Analyst Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in Cyber Security or SOC.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and/or Securonix.
• Understanding of security monitoring, alert triage, and incident escalation.
• Familiarity with common cyber threats, attack techniques, and security concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Senior SOC Analyst Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in SOC or Security Operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel and/or Securonix.
• Experience managing P3/P4 incidents and supporting P1/P2 investigations.
• Experience in threat hunting, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to mentor junior analysts and support operational improvements.
• Strong understanding of SIEM operations, detection engineering, and security best practices.

Experience and Work Type

The roles require 2-5 years of relevant experience, with specific breakdowns for Junior (2-3 years) and Senior (4-7 years) positions. This is a contract opportunity based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
