Role Overview

The Social Media Manager will lead the development and execution of social strategies, manage client relationships, and direct content. This role involves overseeing social media accounts, guiding content creation, supporting campaign execution, and analyzing performance to ensure clients maintain a strong, relevant, and engaging digital presence. The ideal candidate stays informed about the latest digital trends and is confident in driving content direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage up to three client accounts, overseeing day-to-day social media operations, strategy, content planning, and client communication.
• Develop and implement social media strategies, content calendars, campaigns, and platform-specific content directions aligned with client objectives.
• Lead and coordinate with copywriters, designers, video editors, and content creators to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.
• Monitor social media trends, audience behavior, platform updates, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.
• Oversee scheduling, publishing, and content management using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, or similar platforms.
• Review and analyze social media performance, preparing weekly and monthly reports with key insights, recommendations, and action points.
• Lead social media coverage for client events and activations, ensuring relevant and timely content is captured and published.
• Manage client feedback, approvals, revisions, and deliverables while ensuring projects remain on track.
• Lead internal team meetings and client calls, documenting key decisions, action points, and follow-ups.
• Identify and document out-of-scope requests, working closely with relevant teams to manage scope and expectations.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact for social media-related matters.
• Stay up to date with the latest features, trends, formats, and best practices across Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
• Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance on social media best practices, content execution, and client requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience within Saudi Arabia, preferably in an agency environment.
• Fluent in English; Arabic speaker is required.
• Experience working in a similar agency environment.
• Experience working on corporate or semi-government accounts.
• Hands-on experience managing platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Sprout Social or similar platforms.
• Basic understanding of content strategy and campaign planning.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Strong attention to detail across content, reporting, and communication.
• Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and work within tight timelines.
• Ability to review copy, design, and video content with a critical eye.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams (creative, media, production).
• Highly organized with strong task management and prioritization skills; experience with tools like Asana, Jira, *******, or similar is preferred.
