The Opportunity: Sr. IT Internal Auditor

Geidea is seeking a Sr. IT Internal Auditor to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is crucial for maintaining competitive advantage as the company grows. The position involves executing internal audits, monitoring the resolution of observations, and presenting findings to senior management. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The Sr. IT Internal Auditor is responsible for identifying and evaluating risks, formulating tailored recommendations, and conducting audits. The primary goal is to strengthen risk mitigation, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform independent Technology audits covering Cybersecurity, Data privacy, Business Continuity, IT Application controls, IT Planning, Implementation, Operations, Contract evaluations, and Architecture.
• Conduct follow-up activities on previously identified observations to ensure resolution.
• Support administrative tasks such as vendor onboarding, updating Internal Audit governance documentation, and maintaining audit tools.
• Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness, document standard operating procedures and flowcharts, and develop queries or scripts for data extraction as needed.
• Develop relevant audit programs and procedures, including Risk & Control Matrix (RCM).
• Communicate the results of assignments through written reports and oral presentations in a timely manner.
• Conduct process reviews through stakeholder interviews, data validations, and document analysis.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in IT internal audit or a related field.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
