Job Summary

El Seif Engineering Contracting is seeking a SR. MANAGER - HSE (PROJECT) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring compliance with established health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures across all projects and facilities. The role requires over 10 years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the selection, retention, and performance of HSE Project Managers, enforcing policies to enhance functional effectiveness.
• Provide input to Human Resources on succession planning, career growth, and organizational structure.
• Oversee the development of KSA national employees within the function to support corporate objectives and Saudization targets.
• Lead the HSE team's daily operations in accordance with company policies, procedures, and approved budgets.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the company and manage all HSE activities across facilities and work sites.
• Implement the organization's Health & Safety and Environmental strategy to ensure quality project delivery and a safe environment for employees.
• Analyze and monitor the performance of project HSE teams against schedules and report findings in review meetings.
• Ensure the effective execution and implementation of the designed HSE system and maintain company HSE certifications (*, ISO).
• Conduct periodic reviews and updates of HSE processes and procedures.
• Support the preparation of periodic HSE management information systems, including reports and communications.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all HSE matters.
• Lead major incident and accident investigations and ensure safe methods are applied during project duties.
• Assist in the planning, budgeting, and delivery of corporate HSE training.
• Collaborate with all functions to identify and address major HSE issues, including those raised by clients.
• Manage internal and external providers of safety services within projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment roles, preferably within the construction industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead HSE teams effectively.
• Strong understanding of HSE policies, procedures, and international standards.
• Experience in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in identifying and tracking KPIs for HSE functions and devising improvement plans.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic construction environment, requiring active engagement across various project sites and facilities.
