Sulzer is an engineering company known for its heritage of innovation. We are seeking a Sr. Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time role involves providing technical support to customers, sales, service centers, and warranty teams, with a focus on identifying upgrade and service opportunities primarily within the Oil & Gas, Power, and Water industries. The position requires over 10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and the Front-end team, including responding to technical queries and attending meetings for technical clarifications.
• Offer technical support to service centers and field service, encompassing review of inspection reports, recommendations for repair methods, identification of failure causes, upgrade recommendations, and guidance for complex equipment strip-down, assembly, and setting.
• Assist with instructions for complex commissioning or troubleshooting.
• Conduct root cause failure analysis by liaising with customers for data gathering, reviewing site data and reports, and preparing detailed analysis reports with background, results, and recommendations.
• Perform on-site performance assessments, which include taking measurements with vibration analyzers, ultra-sonic flow meters, and thermodynamic methods, analyzing collected data, and preparing detailed reports.
• Liaise with Sulzer factories and overseas engineering teams for additional equipment information to support customer queries, service centers, or root cause failure analysis.
• Collaborate with Sales, Tendering, and Engineering to develop repair and retrofit proposals that meet customer requirements and are executable.
• Conduct detailed engineering for equipment modification and upgrades in the service center, overseeing and arranging drawings, Bills of Material, and specifications.
• Conduct or supervise reverse engineering of components at service centers or customer sites using conventional measuring tools and 3D scanning.
• Participate in and actively support company initiatives that promote growth.
• Provide technical support to Warranty teams for issues encountered during installation, commissioning, operation, and repair of rotating equipment.
• Support warranty claim investigations, including troubleshooting, root cause failure analysis, and preparation of technical reports with recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical support and solutions for rotating equipment.
• Experience in conducting root cause failure analysis and performance assessments.
• Proficiency in liaising with various internal and external stakeholders.
