About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Sr. Engineer Product Development Electrical Data Center to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to the design, engineering, and development of customized containerized data center power modules. The role ensures the seamless integration of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, and STS systems within an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environment.

Product Development and Engineering Responsibilities

• Design and engineer customized, containerized data center power solutions in line with client specifications and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) requirements.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation for the integration of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, and STS systems.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, specifications, and internal engineering guidelines.
• Analyze project requirements, technical constraints, and operational conditions to define optimal power module configurations.
• Conduct engineering evaluations and feasibility assessments to support design decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues arising during product development and system integration.

Implementation and Continuous Improvement

• Implement design enhancements to improve efficiency, reliability, and manufacturability of data center power solutions.
• Identify and recommend innovative engineering approaches, components, and materials to optimize product performance and cost.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through design standardization and lessons learned integration.

General Role Accountabilities

• Maintain updated soft and technical skills relevant to the job function.
• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules, utilizing resources effectively within cost and time parameters.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
• Solve related problems and escalate complex operational issues as necessary.
• Ensure quality requirements are met, including developing effective quality control processes and specifications for products or activities.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, actively seeking automation opportunities.
• Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure adherence to relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this full-time position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in product development, electrical engineering, or data center solutions.
