Job Description
About the Role
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Statutory and Tax Compliance Associate to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to ensuring financial integrity and regulatory adherence across multiple entities within the Middle East region. The Associate will be responsible for managing statutory reporting, coordinating audits, and ensuring comprehensive tax compliance, aligning with IFRS, local GAAP, and all relevant regulatory requirements.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and file statutory financial statements and tax returns, including Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and Value Added Tax (VAT).
- Perform tax and GAAP reconciliations, specifically between US GAAP and local GAAP.
- Forecast tax liabilities and provide support for cash flow planning initiatives.
- Prepare board reporting and financial performance presentations.
- Support business transitions, reorganisations, and various ad hoc initiatives as required.
- Drive process improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency, compliance, and cost control measures.
Compliance and Stakeholder Engagement
- Support statutory audits and tax authority reviews, serving as the primary liaison with auditors and tax officials.
- Ensure continuous compliance with local regulations, accounting standards, internal controls, and corporate policies.
- Act as a key interface for auditors, tax authorities, and internal finance teams.
- Ensure the timely completion of all filings, audits, and reporting obligations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and robust audit trails for all financial activities.
- Identify and implement control improvements and cost efficiencies within the compliance framework.
- Collaborate effectively with HQ finance, Corporate Tax, global stakeholders, and external service providers.
Required Experience
Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in statutory reporting, audit coordination, and tax compliance roles.
