The Store Supervisor Opportunity in Riyadh

SADAFCO is seeking a Store Supervisor to join its team in Riyadh. This is a full-time role requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience. The Store Supervisor will be responsible for managing an assigned warehouse, ensuring adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and driving continuous improvement in operations and staff development.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage assigned warehouse operations to achieve optimum quality, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Plan and organize stock within the warehouse to meet changing operational requirements, ensuring inventory availability and adherence to security and inventory management processes.
• Oversee all warehouse activities, including daily staff deployment for efficiency and monitoring absences such as holidays and unauthorized leave.
• Monitor and report on Warehouse Operations performance, including agreed KPIs and stock damage. Ensure timely clearance of inbound goods and completion/dispatch of all outbound orders, including emergency requests.
• Coordinate with the Transport department on logistics for stock distribution and transfers between external warehouse locations.
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with relevant customer contractual obligations and all publicized procedures and regulations, including Quality, Health, and Safety standards.
• Develop, implement, and monitor operational reporting procedures to ensure compliance, and suggest and drive operational improvements as needed.
• Liaise with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding the maintenance of all warehouse equipment and machinery to ensure operational continuity.
• Manage the performance of the warehouse team, including rosters, performance reviews, learning and development, disciplinary matters, and resource level management in coordination with the Operations Manager.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Operations Manager.

Driving Operational Efficiency and Improvement

The Store Supervisor plays a central role in ensuring the warehouse operates at peak efficiency while adhering to all company SOPs and industry best practices. This involves identifying areas for constant improvement, implementing necessary changes, and maintaining high standards for security, inventory management, and overall operational quality. A key aspect of this role is ensuring compliance with all regulatory and contractual obligations, contributing to a safe and effective working environment.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 4 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role. This position requires strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage complex operational requirements. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to ensure compliance with established procedures and regulations.

Collaboration and Team Leadership

This role involves significant collaboration with internal departments, including Transport and Maintenance, and regular liaison with the Operations Manager. A critical component of the position is the ability to lead, coach, and develop the warehouse team, fostering an environment that delivers exceptional service to both internal and external customers. Effective team management, including performance reviews and resource planning, is essential for success in this role.
