The Role: Strategy & Planning Lead

The Strategy & Planning Lead defines, manages, and evaluates business plans to ensure operational executability against defined strategic objectives. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires over 10 years of experience. The role involves leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop short-term business plans and supporting data-driven models. It also includes preparing comprehensive implementation tactics, such as execution plans, resource allocation, follow-up guidelines, assessment frameworks, and process accountabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop recommendations from complex data and business analyses, formulating them into actionable business plans.
• Drive the construction of innovative statistical and financial models to analyze new aspects of business performance.
• Establish metrics for measuring business performance and recommend strategies to address performance gaps.
• Lead complex, time-sensitive market research projects and identify compelling trends and opportunities for business leaders.
• Staff and manage cross-functional teams across all business planning activities.
• Drive all aspects of priority projects and make final team decisions.
• Develop business plans and proactively identify new opportunities in partnership with client business leaders.
• Develop and drive comprehensive business plan recommendations based on analysis, emerging trends, and experience.
• Identify or develop cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for key business decisions.
• Counsel business leaders, recommend approaches for executing high-level strategies, and develop creative solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in strategy, planning, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to develop data-driven analyses to optimize resources and translate business plans into financial value.
• Proven track record in aligning business activities with stated plans among diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in setting business metrics, evaluating actual performance, and providing recommendations to business leaders on performance target achievement.
