About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Supply and Procurement Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires an experienced professional to lead and manage all procurement activities for water and wastewater projects, ensuring strategic alignment and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives.
• Source and procure materials, equipment, and services essential for water and wastewater projects.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including Requests for Quotation (RFQs), tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, Purchase Order (PO) issuance, and contract management.
• Identify and qualify suppliers for critical components such as pumps, valves, pipes, fittings, instrumentation, chemical dosing systems, filtration systems, membranes, and various electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Ensure the timely procurement and delivery of materials to support project schedules.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and contractors.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, cost, and service metrics.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, and contractual agreements.
• Develop supplier performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and conduct periodic reviews.
• Effectively resolve supplier disputes and contractual issues.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in supply chain and procurement, specifically within the context of large-scale projects, ideally in the water and wastewater sector. A strong understanding of procurement best practices and contract management is essential.
