Supply and Procurement Manager

About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Supply and Procurement Manager to develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives. This is a full-time position requiring 5-10 years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, equipment, and services necessary for water and wastewater projects.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including RFQs, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, purchase order issuance, and contract management.
• Identify and qualify suppliers for critical components such as pumps, valves, pipes, fittings, instrumentation, chemical dosing systems, filtration systems, membranes, and various electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to support project schedules effectively.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and contractors.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, cost, and service metrics.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, and contractual agreements.
• Develop supplier performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and conduct periodic reviews.
• Resolve supplier disputes and contractual issues efficiently.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in supply chain and procurement, particularly within the context of large-scale projects or industrial environments.
