Technical Lead Network & Security

About the Role

Specialized Enterprise Systems (SES) is seeking a Technical Lead - Network & Security to join their team at a client site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on the operational management, maintenance, security, and continuous improvement of the data center network and cybersecurity infrastructure. The Technical Lead will be responsible for leading network and security operations teams to ensure high availability, performance, resilience, and protection of critical data center services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation and maintenance of data center network and security infrastructure, ensuring maximum availability and performance.
• Manage and supervise network and security engineers responsible for LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, data center fabric, wireless, and internet connectivity services.
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of firewalls, IDS/IPS, web application firewalls (WAF), VPNs, network access control (NAC), and security monitoring platforms.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for network outages, security incidents, and critical infrastructure issues.
• Monitor network performance, bandwidth utilization, latency, availability, and security events to ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for network and security infrastructure.
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident reviews for network and cybersecurity events.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in data center network and security operations.
• This position is open to Saudi nationals only.
• Willingness to relocate to the client site in Saudi Arabia within 2 months.

Work Environment

The role operates during standard office hours, with on-call escalation support required for critical issues.
