Overview of the Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Traffic Engineer Roads to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 5-10 years of experience. The Traffic Engineer supports the preparation, review, and implementation of traffic engineering designs, traffic control plans, and safety measures for road infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare traffic layouts, detour plans, signal timings, and signage plans.
• Conduct traffic surveys, volume counts, speed studies, and level-of-service (LOS) analysis.
• Review contractor proposals for traffic control and temporary road layouts.
• Ensure traffic management measures comply with regulations and project specifications.
• Support planning of lane closures and road safety arrangements.
• Monitor site implementation of traffic control devices and safety measures.
• Participate in coordination meetings with consultants and authorities.
• Prepare documentation, reports, and engineering recommendations.

Required Experience

This position requires candidates to have 5-10 years of experience in a relevant traffic engineering role.
