The Role of Traffic Manager

IC İçtaş Construction is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Traffic Manager to join its team. This full-time position is for a road project located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires a professional with a strong background in traffic management within construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive traffic management plans specific to the project scope.
• Prepare temporary traffic arrangements, including detailed plans for traffic diversion, signage, and safety protocols.
• Ensure the safe and uninterrupted flow of traffic both within and around the construction site.
• Coordinate effectively with local authorities and all relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
• Identify potential traffic-related risks and implement necessary mitigation measures to prevent disruptions.
• Ensure that all traffic management activities are aligned with the overall project schedule and budget.
• Supervise subcontractors and site teams, ensuring the proper execution of traffic management practices.
• Prepare daily and weekly traffic management reports to document progress and address any issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in traffic management, preferably within large-scale construction projects.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective traffic management plans.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in traffic control.
• Experience coordinating with governmental bodies and external partners.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on a critical road infrastructure project. The role requires on-site presence and active management of traffic operations within a dynamic construction environment.
