Smith+Nephew designs and manufactures technology focused on enhancing life. The company supports customers and patients globally, with products available in 100 countries. This full-time Trauma Product Specialist position is based in Riyadh, requiring 0-1 years of experience.
Role Overview
The Trauma Product Specialist is responsible for executing marketing strategies and tactical plans to promote Smith+Nephew's product superiority. This role involves coordinating with Regional Marketing Managers to drive revenue and market share for the division. The specialist will maintain customer relations with major accounts and communicate customer requirements back to the company. A key aspect of the role involves selling unique patented devices and implants directly to opinion-leading surgeons in theatre.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors.
- Conduct product presentations for various customer levels, including physicians, nurses, purchasers, and decision-makers.
- Provide product training.
- Assist in identifying and assessing field and marketing support needs, making recommendations to management as appropriate.
- Maintain strong relationships with Business Unit staff and regional marketing managers.
- Serve as a communication link between the marketing organization and the Business Unit to resolve problems, quality issues, manufacturing defects, and other related concerns.
- Be present in the operating theatre to assist or advise physicians on Smith+Nephew product implantation, usage, and techniques.
- Facilitate the implementation and adoption of marketing strategies, tactics, and customer education programs at a country level.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a medical or equivalent field.
- One year of experience in product marketing.
- In-theatre and/or clinical marketing experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English is required.
