Treasury Risk Capital Senior Manager

About the Role

SAB is seeking a Treasury Risk Capital Senior Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves providing independent oversight of liquidity and capital risk management, including the Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) framework, limits, and controls for business activities and data. The role holder will also serve as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for all data controllers within Saudi Arabia, responsible for tasks prescribed by country-specific data privacy laws.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the division’s objectives.
• Support the development of the workforce plan for the division by providing inputs on department-specific workforce forecasts.
• Manage and control the operating framework for the department, offering guidance and support, and ensuring the implementation and review of work processes to achieve high performance standards and continuous improvement.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget for the department and reporting sections in conjunction with the division’s budget, secure subsequent approvals, track expenditure, and ensure adherence to the budget.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and drive a second line of defense function for Liquidity & Capital Risk management.
• Lead Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) activities and their documentation.
• Undertake assurance reviews on the ICAAP.
• Guide the team in developing and updating Pillar II risk methodologies.
• Oversee monthly Pillar II numbers and their projections as required.
• Support and review Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process (ILAAP) activities.
• Review Asset Liability Committee (ALCM) methodologies and undertake assurance reviews.
• Support in closing Liquidity Management Committee (LMC) action points.
• Lead and represent Treasury Risk in any Basel III/III-reforms activity.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess between 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
