Truck Driver

About the Role

Hyatt Place Riyadh Al Sulaimania is seeking a Truck Driver to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting the hotel's daily operations by ensuring the safe, reliable, and timely transportation of goods and supplies. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience, preferably within Food & Beverage operations or a hotel environment, with a focus on safely operating trucks and transporting various items.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the hotel’s truck for the transportation of goods, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of items to designated locations.
• Load and unload goods safely and carefully when required.
• Check the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure it is in safe working condition.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the vehicle.
• Report any vehicle issues, maintenance requirements, or damages promptly.
• Follow all traffic regulations and hotel safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, and vehicle usage when required.
• Assist with transportation-related tasks as requested by the hotel.
• Work closely with different departments to support the hotel’s operational needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid Saudi driving license with "Truck Driver" profession/category clearly stated.
• Previous experience driving trucks or commercial vehicles.
• Previous experience in Food & Beverage operations, preferably within a hotel, restaurant, catering company, or food and beverage company.
• Good understanding of handling and transporting food, beverages, and related supplies.
• Good knowledge of trucks and basic vehicle requirements, including follow-up on maintenance and vehicle registration (Istimara) renewal.
• Good knowledge of Riyadh roads and locations.
• Strong commitment to safe and responsible driving.
• Reliable, punctual, and well-organized.
• Ability to support loading and unloading when required.
• Ability to work effectively with the F&B and other hotel departments.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic communication skills in English and Arabic are preferred.
