Veterinarian

About the Role

Almarai, one of the world's largest integrated dairy farming operations, is seeking a Veterinarian to join its team in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting a dairy herd of approximately 180,000 cattle across six farms. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining animal health, welfare, and productivity through preventive veterinary care and comprehensive herd health management.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain herd health through routine inspections and preventive programs.
• Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and health-related conditions.
• Implement vaccination, biosecurity, and disease-control programs.
• Support reproductive health, calving management, and fertility monitoring.
• Collaborate with farm management and nutrition teams to optimize animal performance and milk production.
• Maintain accurate veterinary records and ensure compliance with animal welfare and regulatory standards.
• Train farm staff on animal health, handling, and disease prevention practices.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in veterinary practice, preferably within a large-scale dairy farming environment. A strong understanding of herd health management, disease prevention, and animal welfare is essential for this role.
