Warehouse Operation Supervisor

About the Role

Abdul Latif Jameel is seeking a Warehouse Operation Supervisor to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing warehouse operations, including receiving, binning, storage, picking, and dispatch, to enhance productivity and ensure efficient handling of parts. The supervisor will be responsible for utilizing available warehouse resources in PIO warehouses in accordance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fulfillment of parts for production.
• Manage the implementation of the Toyota Production System (TPS) in the main warehouse to ensure parts storage aligns with targeted levels and improve business productivity.
• Ensure accurate and timely handling of parts with quality, maximizing utilization of warehouse resources at PIO Sub warehouses.
• Coordinate with departments such as Quality, Production, Planning, Inventory, and PD for parts submission and documentation, including PIO order slips and discrepancy reports.
• Oversee the daily implementation of 5S, PPO Audit, and IMTITHAL, including updating and displaying reports.
• Update stock reports on a daily and monthly basis.
• Develop succession plans and training programs for team members to enhance staff satisfaction, productivity, and multi-skilling.
• Prepare annual leave plans for reporting staff to prevent operational conflicts.
• Monitor sections, set new targets, and control operational costs in line with approved company policies.

Impact and Strategic Focus

This role directly impacts the monitoring of warehouse operations and coordinates with other business units to implement best practices. It indirectly affects daily vehicle production related to parts. The position plays a crucial strategic role in daily container receiving (GRN in JSAP system), warehouse storage management, and dispatching parts orders, providing essential support for daily vehicle production.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with ISO9001 standards.
• Knowledge of 5'S methodology.
• Experience with Postproduction Operation (PPO).

Decision-Making Authority

The Warehouse Operation Supervisor has the autonomy to develop succession plans and implement training programs, such as forklift safety training, to support team development and operational efficiency.
