Web Technical Lead

About the Role

Datalake is seeking a Web Technical Lead to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves providing technical guidance and implementation oversight for three customer and partner-facing web applications built on MongoDB, *****, React, and *** These applications include a payment gateway integration portal and a dispute handling portal.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and oversight for web application implementation.
• Ensure code quality across all assigned projects.
• Conduct security reviews for web applications.
• Design APIs for various system integrations.
• Support application releases.
• Investigate and resolve incidents as they arise.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in web development and technical leadership.
• Proficiency with MongoDB, *****, React, and ***
• Experience with payment gateway integrations and dispute handling systems is beneficial.

Work Environment

This position is part of dedicated engineering squads being built by Datalake for a leading financial services company in Riyadh. The role is based at a Datalake delivery centre in Riyadh, Cairo, or Tunis. This is not a remote working position. Working hours are Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 to 17:00 Saudi time (UTC+3), observing the Saudi public holiday calendar. Squads participate in a 24/7 critical incident on-call rota with a documented backup system. The work will be conducted within the client's SDLC, repositories, and CI/CD environment.
