Job Description: Hotel Receptionist

The hotel receptionist is the person who receives guests upon their arrival, registers their data, and handles check-in and check-out procedures. The receptionist's duties include responding to guest inquiries, providing information about hotel facilities, directing them to their rooms, and resolving any problems or requests guests may have during their stay. They are also responsible for processing room reservations and act as a liaison between guests and hotel management to ensure a comfortable and satisfactory stay for guests.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Receive and register guests, and efficiently and professionally complete arrival and departure procedures.
• Provide essential information about hotel services and nearby tourist attractions.
• Handle guest inquiries professionally and provide effective solutions for their needs.
• Manage guest records and perform required administrative tasks, such as data entry and report preparation.
• Coordinate with other teams, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure an integrated guest experience.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in customer service or reception, preferably in the hotel industry.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact friendly with all guests.
• Good knowledge of hotel management systems.
• Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in English and other languages will be an added advantage.
