The Role of Showroom Sales Representative

The Showroom Sales Representative is a full-time position responsible for providing excellent customer service within the showroom environment. This role involves comprehensive customer engagement from initial contact through post-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing showroom operations, and actively working towards achieving sales targets. The representative will play a crucial part in introducing products, securing orders, and facilitating smooth transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer reception and service, addressing customer needs, delivering goods, and offering support before and after sales.
• Guide customers through the sales process, from product introduction and order securing to quantity calculation, product/color coordination, invoice issuance, and proper goods delivery.
• Coordinate effectively with all showroom staff, including assistants, workers, and drivers, to ensure a seamless sales experience.
• Maintain the showroom's organization and cleanliness, ensuring the availability of marketing tools such as brochures and catalogues.
• Achieve sales targets in line with the established sales plan and implement required Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Process online customer requests and update the E-commerce platform, considering item requirements and stock levels.
• Manage stock levels, particularly for fast-moving items, by adhering to ordering policies based on minimum/maximum levels and applying the first-in, first-out (FIFO) policy to prevent dead stock.
• Report all missing products in the main store to the direct manager and ensure goods are arranged in warehouses according to policy to maintain accurate stock.
• Submit financial reports to the region accountant as required and ensure daily deposit of sales cash amounts into the company’s account.
• Provide regular reports to the direct manager on competitors' activities and promotions.
• Handle customer complaints professionally, aiming for resolution and reporting them to the direct manager.
• Cooperate with other branches to facilitate the resale of slow-moving items.
• Implement company policies and instructions, and submit periodic reports on achievements, problems, and failures.
• Offer constructive ideas and suggestions for developing the sales process and enhancing value.
• Execute all assigned activities using safe and environmentally sound methods.
