Role Summary

The Assistant Recreation Manager supports the Head of Spa & Recreation in managing the resort's recreation and leisure facilities. This full-time role, located in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, involves overseeing daily operations, leading the recreation team, coordinating activities and wellness programs, and ensuring high standards for guest experience, safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence. The position requires a proactive, guest-focused leader capable of managing multiple recreation functions and resolving operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily operations of recreation and leisure facilities, including pools, fitness areas, kids' clubs, and sports facilities.
• Ensure recreation services and facilities meet luxury hospitality standards and deliver guest experiences.
• Plan and oversee a range of recreational, wellness, fitness, and sports activities for various guest profiles.
• Monitor guest feedback to improve recreation programs.
• Ensure facilities and equipment are clean, maintained, and ready for guest use.
• Address guest requests and concerns professionally.
• Supervise, coach, and support the recreation team, including supervisors, lifeguards, and fitness trainers.
• Assist with workforce planning, scheduling, and deployment of recreation colleagues.
• Conduct team briefings and performance discussions.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of recreation colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment.
• Ensure risk assessments and safety procedures are in place for activities.
• Develop and implement recreation programs and events.
• Coordinate daily, weekly, and seasonal recreation schedules.
• Assist with departmental budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain operational records and prepare reports for the Head of Spa & Recreation.
• Coordinate with other departments for facility maintenance.
• Monitor service delivery and operational standards, identifying areas for improvement.

Required Experience

• Candidates should have 5-10 years of relevant experience.
